People are asking, "Who do you like for city council?"
Well, here's what we have so far. We're done with the two year endorsements but are still working on other four year candidates. Check back another day for more.
If you know any candidates who haven't responded to our questionnaire, let them know they are missing out. We'd be glad to let them tell their story in our Candidate Central.
What was the idea behind endorsing Charlene Sligting? Fighting illegal immigration is the last thing she would do.
ReplyDeleteI'm as frustrated as anyone with politicians these days. We can only listen to what they say and remind them once they are elected.
ReplyDeleteI've attended three forums so far and Charlene has given the same message at each one.
In fact, her message seems to get stronger.
She wants to put pressure on ICE through face-to-face meetings with the council and banding together with other municipalities.
Will she do it? No one knows, but at least she's saying she will. Most of the other candidates use the "federal issue" cop-out.
