I understand Tom Sandor was blasting me on WRMN yesterday. Sorry I missed it. I'm hoping lots of people miss his program in the future since his political touch seems to have left him
He was wrong about his own re-election to the Elgin Council...
...wrong about switching parties to win a county race...
...and wrong about the outcome of the Elgin election yesterday.
That can't be good.

I'm very grateful for this particular post!!! PLs respond to my request that WRMN remove mr. sandor from any and all capacities at the station. WRMN is supposively our'local' station,however very little of the programming originates in Elgin.The station buys talk-show programs and sells time to local interest. One shopping show coupons discounts a 1-hour program of YOUR choice. about half price $$150 compared to 300,with no long term contract. Could we buy that hour and EXPOSE the behavior of Sandor??

ReplyDeleteOriginally when Sandor started on the council I was impressed with him because he along with Rogers were usually the lone no votes on the council when in my heart I would have voted no.
ReplyDeleteHe revealed a negative side to me after the council meeting where I used my three minutes to address the council and I was critical of the council in those comments. At the time both myself and Mike Noland, among others where running for a four year seat on the council. Mike and I after meeting where having a discussion and Sandor came off his high and mighty council perch and told me to knock it off. To his credit Mike told me Clarence, you stick to your guns you have good ideas.
Ever since Sandor tried to muzzle the watchdog I have looked at him in a more critical light and I am glad he did not win reelection or election to the county.

Davis should have been the last straw!!! Then he violates FCC campaigning rules, and goes back to ripping Rep. Farnum and hate-filled C'ville trashtalk. RESIGN TOM SANDOR u need help!!!

ReplyDeleteTaking back at least a portion of WRMN is important to Elgin. Look what's happened since Jack left ops mgr. It is not good. The only local politician(loser) representing Elgin is SANDOR!! Does he matter,maybe not himself--but his hate-filled rants against C'Ville DO!!! After his breakdown with Jack,{truckertom set him off by asking-how do you sleep at night?} Why aren't Rep. Farnum's people speaking up? Where's the leadership from C'ville?? HEY DOC uawake!!If we keep taking this does it mean what? CALL WRMN 931-1410 or mikey 741-7700,RESPECT ELGIN and others as well!!!!!

Not only that, but you are turning possible supporters into definite non-supporters. Regroup guys and stick to the important issues. If you don't like what's on the air, turn the knob.

Hey pal -our opinion is just that-our opinion. One reason Elgin has such a bad reputation is because of WRMN and SLANDOR. How do you rationalize SLANDOR's behavior? Trying to rip on a smaller target when Elgin has all the same problems but refuses to admit it! Bravo-to C'ville for facing issues and DEALING with it.This is one post,if you do not want to comment,don't. People like you allowed ELGIN'S situation to sink to the current level. After we put a couple crooked Elgin pols in prison,you can go visit!
